Rajasthan : Due to heavy rains in Rajasthan, rivers and streams are overflowing. Due to the re-activation of monsoon in the eastern part of the state, heavy rains are expected in many districts. At present, the ‘trough line’ of monsoon is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota. Due to this, another new low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal around July 19.
State temperature in last 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thundershowers has been recorded at some places in the state and heavy rain at some places in Tonk and Udaipur districts. Due to the monsoon becoming active in Eastern Rajasthan from July 15, the highest rainfall in the state has been recorded in Tonk at 89 mm, Bhindar in Udaipur at 73 mm and Gida in Barmer in western Rajasthan at 30 mm. Along with this, if we talk about the temperature of the state in the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.3 degrees in Jaisalmer and the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees in Jaisalmer.
Weather update for next 4 to 5 days
Along with this, the Meteorological Center Jaipur (IMD, Jaipur) has said that another new low pressure Western Disturbance is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal around July 19. Due to its effect, monsoon is likely to remain active in many places of eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Also, during this time, heavy rains are likely at some places in Kota, Udaipur division. At the same time, there is a possibility of increase in rain activities in Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer divisions from 17-18 July. Apart from this, rain activities are likely to continue in some parts of Jodhpur division of western Rajasthan in the coming days. At the same time, there is a possibility of increase in rain activities at many places in Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions during July 17-19 and heavy rains at some places on July 18.
