Rajasthan : According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, from Tuesday morning to 5.30 pm, 16MM rain was recorded in Jalore, 13.2MM in Barmer, 11.6MM in Dabok (Udaipur) and 4.4MM in Bhilwara.
Yellow alert for rain issued
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in 5 districts of Rajasthan. Yellow alert has been issued in Nagaur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Pali and Jodhpur. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in these districts. An alert has been issued for lightning. Winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
Jaisalmer recorded the maximum temperature at 41 degree Celsius
According to the Meteorological Centre, the maximum temperature in Jaisalmer was recorded at 41 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Pilani recorded 40.7 degrees, Bikaner 40.4 degrees, Phalodi 40.2 degrees, Fatehpur 39.3 degrees and other major places in the state recorded temperatures ranging from 38.7 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius.
Monsoon trough line is passing through southern Rajasthan
Last night’s temperature in most parts of the state was recorded between 33.2 degrees Celsius to 24.5 degrees Celsius. According to this, today the monsoon trough line is passing through southern Rajasthan. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain activities with thunder and heavy rain at some places in some parts of southern and eastern Rajasthan on 9-10 July.
Light to moderate rain likely on 12-13 July
The department said that there is a possibility of some reduction in heavy rains on July 11 due to the monsoon trough line moving towards the Himalayas. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Bharatpur division and light to moderate rain at some places in the remaining parts. Similarly, during July 12-13, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at only sporadic places and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts.
