Rajasthan : Heavy rains are continuing in Rajasthan. Banswara of the state recorded the highest rainfall on Tuesday. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert today, anticipating heavy rains in 9 districts of eastern and southern Rajasthan. At the same time, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in 9 districts. Earlier on Tuesday, heavy rains were recorded at some places in Dausa, Karauli, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Baran and Sawai Madhopur districts. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of four and a half inches was recorded in Banswara and four inches in Mount Abu Dungarpur. Heavy rains occurred in the capital Jaipur in the evening. More than two inches of rain fell at Sanganer Airport.
In Udaipur, the spell of heavy rain lasted for about 45 minutes. During this time, water filled on roads and in many areas. In Jhunjhunu, there was heavy rain between 4-6 am. And before we woke up, the fields were flooded. Last night, there was rain in Khandela, Ramgarh Shekhawati, Sikar city and Sikar rural.

At the same time, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in 9 districts. These include Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Tonk and Udaipur districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Ajmer, Jhunjhunu, Rajsamand, Sikar, Sirohi, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jalore, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Pali.
