Rajasthan : Heavy rain in the last 24 hours in Rajasthan has increased the challenges of common people. According to the Meteorological Department, this weather condition will continue for the next few days, due to which people have been advised to remain alert.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in various districts of Rajasthan. Heavy rains are expected in eastern Rajasthan between July 2 and July 6 and in western Rajasthan on July 3. Jaipur and Udaipur divisions may receive moderate to heavy rains, while Bharatpur, Kota, and Bikaner divisions are also likely to receive heavy rains.

According to Skymet Weather report, the conditions are favorable for monsoon activities and monsoon is likely to advance in the next 2 to 3 days. Director of Meteorological Department Radheshyam Sharma says that this time there is a possibility of more than normal rainfall in 80 percent area of the state. Monsoon is entering Rajasthan in the right direction and speed.

Eastern Rajasthan has recorded the highest rainfall in the month of June. Dholpur and Bharatpur received heavy rains, while western Rajasthan remained dry. Bikaner and Hanumangarh districts received less than average rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in rain activities from July 3. Rain activities may intensify in Bikaner division of northwestern Rajasthan during July 4 to 6.
Rainfall situation in different districts
In different parts of the state, it is raining heavily at some places and lightly at others. Dholpur recorded the highest rainfall of 124 mm, while Churu recorded 51 mm, Chittorgarh 50 mm, Nagaur 45 mm, Kota 18.8 mm, Jaipur 11.5 mm, Pilani 11.8 mm and Mount Abu recorded 9.6 mm rainfall. On one hand, the rapid activity of monsoon in Rajasthan has brought relief, but on the other hand it has also posed challenges for the people. It is advised to remain alert in the coming days and follow the warnings of the Meteorological Department.
