According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure area formed over Madhya Pradesh has now turned into a cyclonic circulation and is currently located over south-eastern Rajasthan. Apart from this, another new low pressure area is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal. Due to its effect, monsoon activities are likely to continue in eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days.

Due to rain, the gates of Swaroop Sagar and Udai Sagar Dam in Udaipur have been opened. Mahi Bajaj Dam in Banswara is also full, and water is being drained out. The gates of Parvat Dam in Dholpur have also been opened. Gambhiri Dam in Chittorgarh is also overflowing. The water level of rivers in Tonk, Bundi, and other districts is also continuously rising.
