Weather Update: Monsoon is active again, heavy rain alert, know the condition of your city

Rajasthan : Monsoon has become active in the state. Rain activities are increasing. According to the Meteorological Center, a low pressure area is formed over the Bay of Bengal. The monsoon trough line is also passing through parts of southern Rajasthan. Due to its effect, rain activities are likely to continue for the next 4-5 days in some places of eastern Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours in the state, light to moderate rain with thunder occurred at some places in eastern Rajasthan and western Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall has been recorded in Jhalawar district. The highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Pidaawa, Jhalawar at 75 mm and Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer of western Rajasthan at 43 mm. Apart from this, 14.4 mm was recorded in Kota, 23 mm in Jodhpur, 23 mm in Sirohi.

29 mm rain in Pali, roads turned into rivers

People suffering from heat and humidity in Pali district got relief at 5 pm on Thursday evening. Suddenly dark clouds covered the sky with strong winds and it became dark. When the clouds started raining with strong winds, there was water everywhere. 29 mm of rainfall was recorded in the city. Along with this, it also rained in the Aravalli valleys and villages of Godwad region including Rohat of the district. Due to torrential rain in Pali city, water flowed with great speed in the sloping areas of the city. Two-wheelers were washed away at many places. Due to fast flow of water in Baisi Bazaar, Bhairughat Marg, Satyanarayan Marg etc. areas of the city, vehicles fell and started flowing.

Relief from humidity due to heavy rain for one hour

After about a week, Lord Indra was kind again in Bharatpur on Thursday afternoon. It rained heavily from 12:30 to 1:30 in the afternoon. This gave relief to the people from the intense humidity. Due to the rain, most of the roads in the city were flooded. Traffic was disrupted for about two hours due to one to two feet of water accumulation at various places on the roads. While passing through the water, two-wheelers of many people stopped, due to which they had to face trouble. Apart from this, the owners of houses and shops built in low-lying areas had to face trouble as rainwater entered them.
