Weather Update: Rain alert in Rajasthan, possibility of strong storm, know the condition of your city

Rajasthan : Monsoon is active in Rajasthan even on the second day of Sawan. Rain continues across the state. Monsoon trough line is passing through Jaisalmer and Ajmer. In such a situation, heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts today and tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alert of heavy rain in 12 districts of the state today. At the same time, there will be rain with stormy winds in the remaining districts. However, there is no alert for three districts. Earlier on Monday, heavy rain was recorded in the districts of eastern Rajasthan.

Orange and yellow alert for rain in these districts today

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur districts today. At the same time, there is a yellow alert for heavy rain in Alwar, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dholpur, Jaipur, Sikar, Tonk and Churu districts. Apart from this, a yellow alert for rain has also been issued in Ajmer, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Jalore, Nagaur, Pali and Sriganganagar. There is a possibility of lightning and stormy winds in most of the districts. However, there is no possibility of rain in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer districts.

Monsoon trough line passing through Jaisalmer and Ajmer

According to the Meteorological Center, a low pressure area is formed over eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The monsoon trough line is passing through Jaisalmer and Ajmer. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions on Wednesday and Thursday. At the same time, there will be an increase in rain activity in Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. At the same time, conditions of humidity and heavy heat are likely to persist at some places in Bharatpur, Jaipur and Bikaner divisions.
