Rajasthan : Monsoon in India starts in June and gradually ends by the end of September. But this time the departure of monsoon is getting delayed. Along with this, flood situation has arisen in many parts of the country including the state. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain again in some areas of Rajasthan from the 17th. Due to the new system, there will be an alert of heavy rain for two-three days.

Yellow alert issued in 8 districts
According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Pratapgarh and Sawai Madhopur on Tuesday, September 17. Along with this, just thirty minutes ago, the Meteorological Center Jaipur (IMD, Jaipur) has issued a yellow alert for Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Dausa, Tonk and Jaipur divisions for the next three hours. Under this, there is a possibility of light rain with drizzle in some areas of these districts.
Temperature of last 24 hours
If we talk about the temperature of the last 24 hours, then due to the two days not being heavy, a slight increase in temperature was recorded on Monday. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Sri Ganganagar at 37.4 degrees Celsius. But there was sporadic rainfall in some areas. The highest rainfall of 65 mm was recorded in Nathdwara of Rajsamand. However, there is no possibility of monsoon leaving yet. Monsoon may remain active till the last week of the month.
Weather forecast for the coming days
Due to the deep pressure area formed over West Bengal and Jharkhand, the possibility of rain in the state has increased further. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Rajasthan on 17, 18 and 19 September. On September 18, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Karauli, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh and Sawai Madhopur. There is also a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at some places in Kota and Udaipur divisions.
