Water has started overflowing in the dam, and water is being drained by opening the gates of the dam. Due to this, the danger of floods in many villages has also started looming. In such circumstances, the Jaipur Center of the Indian Meteorological Department has said that this situation may persist for the next 2 to 3 days.
Weather likely to remain dry in border areas
According to the IMD alert, the depression formed in the Bay of Bengal is rapidly moving towards Rajasthan. Due to its effect, monsoon will remain active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 2 to 3 days. That is, there is a strong possibility of heavy rain with thunder in many parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Udaipur divisions. At the same time, light to moderate rain with thunder is also likely in some parts of Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions and the weather is likely to remain mostly dry in the border areas.

Orange alert issued in 8 districts and yellow alert in 5 districts
IMD Jaipur has issued a new update on Thursday morning and issued an orange alert for rain in 8 districts of Rajasthan. These include Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Baran, Jhalawar, Tonk districts. Apart from these, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and light rain in Jalore, Bundi, Kota, Jaipur and Bhilwara districts. During this time, there is a possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas. There is also a possibility of sudden increase in the inflow of water in rivers and rain drains. At the same time, the traffic system is likely to be affected due to waterlogging on roads and underpasses.
