Rajasthan : Monsoon clouds are showering their love on the entire state including the capital Jaipur. Due to rain on Friday, life in many cities and towns of the state was affected. Tonk, Kota, Bundi, Bikaner, Ajmer etc.
In other districts, there was less rain in some places and heavy rain in others. According to the weather department, rain activities will continue for a few more days. The weather centre in Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in 21 districts today.
Dark clouds rained heavily in Jaipur
The dark clouds covering the sky rained heavily on Friday evening as well. The monsoon was kind to the capital on the third day on Friday. After 2 pm in the afternoon, the heavy rain caused waterlogging at many places including JLN Marg, Ajmer Road, Tonk Road, Malviya Nagar, causing trouble to the common people. The roads were also filled with water. Heavy rain occurred in many areas including Jagatpura, Sanganer, NewSanganer Road, while it rained lightly in some areas. Traffic was disrupted due to waterlogging on the road near Trimurti Circle, Ajmer Road Shyam Nagar Tiraha. Vehicle drivers kept facing trouble due to traffic jam.
Rain alert in these districts today
The Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in 21 districts including Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar and Tonk today.
The weather will remain like this in future
The Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued a forecast for the next two weeks and has predicted that the rain will continue in the state till July 18. Monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of the state except the south-western parts. Due to the new western disturbance formed over the north-eastern Rajasthan of the state, the monsoon is passing through Bikaner-Churu. Due to this, there is a strong possibility of monsoon remaining active in eastern Rajasthan for the next two days.
