Kolkata, 20 November (IANS). BJP leader and Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh on Wednesday targeted the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal. He has alleged that there is no law and order in Bengal. Mamata Banerjee’s government is acting like Kim Jong Un.
While talking to journalists, Giriraj Singh said that there is no such thing as law and order in Bengal. No one feels safe here. I am saying this out of spite, CM is acting like Kim Jong Un.
If anyone speaks in opposition to Kim Jong Un, he gets the death penalty. Neither our daughter is safe nor the people are safe in Bengal. He described Mamata government as Kim Jong Un’s government. He said that Kim Jong Un’s government does not last long.
Apart from this, he also reacted to the results of Maharashtra and Jharkhand exit polls. He said that I do not say much on exit polls. He defeated me in Haryana. However, he has said that NDA government will be formed in both the states.
In response to another question, the Union Minister said that when law and order remains good then the industry flourishes. Industries are migrating from the state. Once the state was the ‘Mother of Textile’. Subsequent governments and that of Mamata Banerjee destroyed it.
The Union Minister also reacted to the arrest of BJP leader Sukant Majumdar. He said that arresting Sukant Majumdar is cowardice of this government. The law is being flouted. They will arrest whoever speaks against this government. We are afraid that the Governor might tell the truth and arrest him.
