Mumbai, November 25 (IANS). BJP leader Kalidas Kolambkar, who won from Maharashtra’s Wadala Assembly seat for the ninth consecutive time, had an exclusive conversation with IANS on Monday. He said that my dream was that after winning the assembly elections for the 9th time, his name should be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
BJP leader Kalidas Kolambkar said, “If any person comes into politics, he is not able to bat for so long, but I did this because I believe in working at the grassroots level. In this election, I will be included in the Guinness Book of World Records.” The dream of registering my name in the world record has been fulfilled. There are 288 MLAs in Maharashtra, out of which I am not running for the post of minister, I only know how to do my work.
Referring to the Lok Sabha elections, Kalidas Kolambkar said, “Due to our mistake in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, we got less votes. Leaders and people from outside come and make wrong statements. Because of them, we got less seats. I believe. That the high command should have taken action against him.”
He further said, “There was no chance for the opposition in the Lok Sabha elections. They only spread their fake narrative and the result was that the result of the Lok Sabha changed.”
