When Congress loses elections, EVM is the only excuse: Shyam Bihari Jaiswal

Raipur, 29 November (IANS). Maha Vikas Aghadi lost in Maharashtra Assembly elections. After the defeat of Congress in the elections, questions are being raised continuously on EVMs. Meanwhile, senior Chhattisgarh Congress leader Kawasi Lakhma has said that he will not contest the elections if the elections do not start through ballot paper.

On this statement of the Congress leader, Health Minister of Chhattisgarh Government, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has said that this was bound to happen. You all know that when Congress loses elections, the only excuse they have is EVM. When they win elections the EVMs get fixed. Had there been ballot paper, what allegations might have been made?

Chhattisgarh BJP President Kiran Singh Dev has said that there is frustration and disappointment in the Congress due to the defeat in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. There is nothing else. They are demanding to conduct elections through ballot paper. Congress does not say anything when their government is formed in Karnataka and Jharkhand. The EVM gets repaired there. I want to ask whether the government formed here by Congress was formed through ballot paper. Was the Congress government in Karnataka, Telangana government and earlier Rajasthan government formed through ballot paper?

Raipur MP Brijmohan Aggarwal has said that there is no leadership left in Congress. Anyone can say anything, but there is no one to hold them accountable. Congress no longer has any strong leadership left.
