Barmer : A young man from Sindh province of Pakistan had reached a village bordering India to meet his girlfriend. When his girlfriend’s family members chased him at night, he ran into the Indian border while running in the dark. The surprising thing is that while dodging the BSF post, he went about 25 kilometers into the Indian border. He has been a headache for Indian security agencies for two months now. This youth has been identified as 21-year-old Jagsi Koli, resident of Sindh province of Pakistan. He reached Kharoda, a border village of Pakistan, on 24th August. To escape from his family, he entered India. When he was caught, BSF asked Pakistani Rangers to take him back, but they were not ready to take him. In such a situation, Barmer Police is busy monitoring him. At present he is in Sedwa police station area of Barmer district.
How did you know that the young man is Pakistani?
Pakistani youth Jagsi Koli came running to the Indian border on the night of 24th August, but when he asked the villagers on the morning of 25th August about the bus going to Tharparkar, they got suspicious. He informed the police about this. When police and BSF reached the spot, they arrested Jagsi Koli. Two SIM cards, a mobile phone and a diary have also been recovered from him.
Security agencies interrogated Jagsi Koli. All the security agencies present in India interrogated the Pakistani citizen, but nothing suspicious was found with him. After this the security agencies handed him over to Barmer Police. Meanwhile, when India had a flag meeting with Pak Rangers, India had talked about sending Jagsi back, but no interest was shown by Pak Rangers. Crossed the ‘limit’ in love, Pakistani lover Jagsi, who reached India because of his girlfriend, is repeatedly pleading with the police to allow him to go to his village. At present, Jagsi has been handed over to Bakhasar police station of Barmer.
Now Bakhasar police personnel are on duty day and night and are engaged in monitoring Pakistani citizens. What did the in-charge of the police station where the PAK citizen was kept say? Bakhasar police station in-charge Vishan Singh told Aaj Tak that Jagsi had come to India from Pakistan by crossing the barbed wire about two months ago. No specific reason has emerged during the inquiry. Now continuous efforts are being made to send him back to Pakistan. For this, talks are going on at Delhi level.
