Unique architecture, history captured in murals
The mansions, temples, chhatris and wells with their unique architecture and wall painting art of Churu Thali region are not just houses made of lime stone or mortar but they are such circular pictures which include everything from history to literature, music and art. This is a history that needs not only to be preserved and promoted but also to be disseminated so that the new generation also has the knowledge of the art that innovations do today. On one hand, the world can learn something from the heritage here, on the other hand, the new generation can create and preserve these heritages through it. Therefore, today’s aware people ask that despite being rich in many amazing tourist heritages, till when will Churu become a hub from the point of view of tourism industry.
Efforts underway to develop tourism
According to the information, however, efforts were made to promote tourism in Churu several times a decade ago. In the sequence of which, Churu Heritage City was also made and during that time officials from the Tourism Department also visited here. The then district administration had also appointed an employee in the department but this exercise could not progress. As a result, even today the historical heritage of Churu is waiting for the people of the country and the world.
