Pali News Desk: The foundation stone was laid eight months ago to transform the railway station of Pali, built during the British era. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the virtual foundation stone, people were expecting the work on the new railway station to be built at a cost of Rs 293.73 crore to start soon, but till now no work has been done at the station. There is the same old entry and exit route and platform in the station. There has been only one change, that is the station master’s room. Which has been started in the new room in place of the old one.
The building is to be built in this form
The south station building at the railway station will be 132 by 24 meters, the north one will be 132 by 21 meters. Air Concourse is 24 meter wide, Arrival FOB is 6 meter wide, City Cross Overbridge is 6 meter wide, Parcel and RMS Building is 32 meter wide by 11.5 meter, Residential Tower (S4) is 22.7 meter wide by 15.5 meter and Commercial Plot (Future Development). It will be of 1474 square meters.
Dholpuri stone is to be used
Rajput architecture along with the architecture of Marwar will be seen at the stone station and platform of Dholpur. There will be arches on it. There will be exit and entry of railway platform on both sides towards Subhash Circle and Old Age Home of Pali city. The platform will have waiting rooms, indicators to view train coaches and other modern facilities. Tender process is going on for Pali Railway Station. Further action will be taken after its completion.
