Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Bhajan Lal government released the list of transfers of IAS officers on Thursday night. 108 IAS officers have been transferred in the state. Two women officers have been given big responsibilities, including IAS officer Aarti Dogra. Dogra has been given a big responsibility by Bhajan Lal government and made the chairman of electricity discom. Apart from this, Anandi has been made the chairman of Jaipur Development Authority and Gayatri Rathore has been made the health secretary.

Who is IAS Aarti Dogra?

Aarti Dogra is an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. She cleared the UPSC exam in her first attempt in 2006. She has done excellent work in various positions in Rajasthan for more than 10 years. Dogra held the post of collector in many districts and introduced many new models of change.

She was the collector of three districts and secretary of the CM

Aarti Dogra has been the collector of Bundi, Ajmer and Bikaner. She has been the additional district collector of many districts. As Bikaner district collector, she had launched a great campaign against open defecation. This campaign, known as ‘Banko Bikan’, had set an example across the country. When Ashok Gehlot became the Chief Minister for the third time, he made Aarti Dogra his secretary.

Dogra is originally from Dehradun in Uttarakhand. She was born in 1979 in Dehradun. Her height is 3 feet and 2 inches. Ignoring her height, Dogra has achieved great success. Dogra’s parents supported her a lot and got her educated in a normal school. Aarti studied in the country’s prestigious Lady Shriram College and in 2006, she passed the UPSC exam in her first attempt.
