Who is IAS Mukul Sharma, the new District Collector of Sikar? Bhajanlal government entrusted this responsibility to him

Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Bhajanlal government issued transfer orders of 108 IAS officers late on Thursday night. In this administrative reshuffle that took place after a long wait, the collectors of 12 districts including Jaipur were changed. Under this, Sikar District Collector Qamar Ul Zaman Choudhary (IAS Qummer Choudhary) has been transferred to the post of Joint Administrative Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department and Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission Jaipur. At the same time, Mukul Sharma (IAS Mukul Sharma) has been given the responsibility of Sikar District Collector from Joint Administrative Secretary, Industry Commerce Department, Jaipur.

Became IAS by getting promoted from RAS

Sikar’s new District Collector Mukul Sharma is originally from Jaipur. He was promoted from Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and became an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer in the year 2013. Before becoming the Sikar District Collector, Mukul Sharma was serving as Joint Administrative Secretary in the Department of Industry and Commerce, Jaipur. Before this, he has also worked in many other departments including Panchayati Raj and Medical. On January 10, Bhajanlal Government transferred him from Civil Aviation and Chief Protocol Officer, General Administration Department and Control Circuit House, Jaipur to the post of District Collector, District Magistrate, Salumbhar. However, this was cancelled after about 15 days.
