The case was registered in Delhi which was later transferred to Jodhpur. Teams were sent to many cities of the country to collect evidence against Asaram. For this, a team of 20 most capable police officers of Jodhpur was formed. This team was named ‘Tough-20’. At that time Ajay Lamba was the Deputy Commissioner of Police of Jodhpur.
When Asaram was caught he started crying loudly
Ajay Pal Lamba writes in the book that it was not so easy to catch Asaram. As soon as Jodhpur police started surrounding Asaram, they were threatened, police was attacked during the arrest. Many times they would get calls asking them to take money. They were lured. Later when the narrative was created that Asaram is impotent, his ‘impotency test’ was done, although many officers were not in favor of this test. When Asaram was caught, he started crying loudly.
