Jaipur : Varsha Bishnoi, who appeared as a dummy candidate in the SI Recruitment 2021 examination, was arrested by the police from Kota on Monday (7 October). In March 2024, SOG had arrested and interrogated SI Jagdish Sihag, in which Varsh Bishnoi’s name had come up. Investigation revealed that Varsha had also become a dummy candidate in other competitive exams. She used to charge huge amount for this. Before SOG could arrest Varsha, she had absconded. SOG had announced a reward of Rs 25 thousand on Varsha.

Passed SI recruitment exam myself, got two sisters also passed
In the Rajasthan SI Recruitment-2021 examination, SI Jagdish Sihag had made Varsha appear in the examination as a dummy candidate in place of her sisters Indubala and Bhagwati. Rs 30 lakh was taken for both the sisters. Varsha had put her own photo on the admit cards of Indubala and Bhagatavi. She had given the exam as a dummy candidate at the exam center of Chhotwara Khirni Fatak Siddharth Public Secondary School, Jaipur. Varsha had given the exam on 13 September 2021 in place of Indubala and had given the exam on 14 September in place of Bhagwati. Both of them passed the exam. Indubala got 1139th rank and Bhagwati got 239th rank. Varsha herself had given the exam and got 834th rank.

Input regarding rain was received only three months ago. Varsha lived as a PG in the house of a retired bank manager in Jawahar Nagar area of Kota. She kept changing her name.
