Jaipur : The race of parties has intensified for the by-elections to be held on five assembly seats in Rajasthan. In which only two major parties are visible but there are many more players behind the scenes, who are becoming the main characters of this electoral game. Leaders of two allies of Congress, Hanuman Beniwal and Rajkumar Roat are still not revealing their cards. However, Hanuman Beniwal has even said many times that his party can contest elections on many seats. Whereas, Congress is also preparing for all those five seats. Congress leaders are working on the ground regarding this. People are being added even at the block level. BJP has made preparations for changes in its organization, the effect of which will also be seen soon. Names have also been decided on some seats, while brainstorming and surveys are still being done on some seats.

There are many big leaders of BJP who can play their game in this by-election. Some are seeking ticket for their brother and some for their wife. Not only this, a big leader wants to field his wife as an independent candidate from Dausa. Earlier that leader tried to get a ticket for his brother but did not succeed. In the Lok Sabha elections also, that leader tried to get a ticket for his brother from Dausa but there also BJP gave the ticket to some other leader. At the same time, there is a former MP who wants to get a ticket for her daughter. Her ticket was cancelled, since then she is preparing to field someone from the family. The game here can be big.
Congress’s policy of waiting
For the by-elections to be held on five seats, the Congress stalwarts are following a wait-and-see policy. It is not yet decided who will get the ticket. However, on two seats, the party has indicated that family members may get the tickets. But, the green signal from the high command is awaited.
