Why are people angry with IAS Tina Dabi, serious allegations made, know the matter

Barmer News Desk: There was a huge controversy on Monday in the board meeting of the Municipal Council regarding the Nav Barmer campaign of Barmer district. During the meeting, councilors of BJP and Congress made serious allegations against District Collector Tina Dabi. The councilors said that under the Nav Barmer campaign, the Municipal Council is being ignored and the public representatives are not being given any role in the plans related to the development of the city. Councilors from both Congress and BJP alleged that the Municipal Council Councilors are being kept out of the city’s development work. Financial irregularities especially in the garbage collection tender came to light. Councilors said that earlier this tender used to be worth Rs 6-7 lakh, but now how did it suddenly become Rs 30 lakh? There is suspicion of a big scam regarding this increased amount and the councilors have demanded an investigation into it.

Tina Dabi launches Novo Barmer campaign

Apart from this, under the Novo Barmer campaign, MoUs have been signed with Bhamashahs for beautification of the city, which are also not being monitored by the public representatives. Local leaders say that public representatives are not being invited to these programs even though these programs are related to the development of the city. Especially in the beautification of intersections and roads, banners with their names are being put up by Bhamashahs, which is being opposed by the councilors of the city council.

Is Tina Dabi just creating her image?

Congress councilor Mahavir Bohra says that this campaign is becoming a means of publicity for industrialists instead of the development of Barmer. Councilors believe that the purpose of this campaign is only to create public image, while for this the local public representatives of the city are being sidelined. In this whole matter, the question now arising is whether the Novo Barmer campaign is really for the development of Barmer or will it remain a part of political and business propaganda.
