According to the Panchang, this time both Saptami and Ashtami Tithi are falling on the same day i.e. 10th October and in the scriptures, fasting on Saptami and Ashtami on the same day is not considered auspicious. In such a situation, Maha Ashtami and Mahanavami will be celebrated on the same day i.e. on 11th October.
