Jaipur : ‘Run for Vikas Rajasthan-2024’ was organized today on the occasion of completion of one year of the tenure of the state government. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma flagged off the race at Amar Jawan Jyoti located at Janpath. Meanwhile, suddenly coming down from the stage, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also started running. After which the runners were enthusiastic after seeing the Chief Minister running with them. On the occasion of Run for Vikas Rajasthan, races were organized in every district today. During this, Minister Rajyavardhan Singh, MLA Gopal Sharma, CS Sudhansh Pant and others were present.

On this occasion, CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that this race is being held in every district today. This race shows our unity. We want the youth to get direction. Our youth are our heritage. If the youth moves forward then the state and the country will develop. Players from Rajasthan have won medals at state and international level. Run for Vikas Rajasthan will be organized every year on 12th December.

Indian shooter Avani Lekhara and other international medal winners were honored at the event. Avani Lekhara has been honored by the government with a check of Rs 3 crore. Whereas athlete Mona Aggarwal was honored with a check of Rs 1 crore. Athlete Sunder Singh Gurjar was also honored with a check of Rs 1 crore. More than 10 thousand participants including students of various educational institutions, NCC, NSS, Bharat/Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Police, RAC, Army, Home Guards, departmental employees and general public participated in the program. Keeping in mind the convenience of the participants, the program participated. More than ten blocks were built at the site. Where a marathon was organized by dividing all the participants into different blocks. Along with this, with the aim of promoting the culture of Rajasthan, band playing and cultural presentations by artists were also organized on various stages in the marathon.
