Why did Diya Kumari accuse Gehlot government in Kanhaiyalal murder case? Know here

Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari reached the house of late student Devraj Mochi on Friday morning as part of her two-day Udaipur visit. The Deputy Chief Minister reached the house of late Devraj in Kheradiwada, Udaipur and paid floral tribute to the photo of the deceased. During this, Diya Kumari consoled the family of the late student and said that the state government is with you. She assured that strict action will be taken against the culprits as per the rules.

A cheque of Rs 8 lakh was handed over to Devraj’s family

On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister provided immediate relief of Rs 8 lakh from the state government to the family of the deceased student and directed the District Collector to provide all possible relief to the family from the government. After meeting Devraj’s family, Diya Kumari while talking to the media said, “I have handed over the cheque of the relief amount to the family. I assured the family that the government is with them, and will try its best to get them justice. What happened to them is very wrong. There will be a proper investigation of the case, there will be no shortage in it. The side of the victim’s family will be strongly presented in the court.”

This incident happened during the Gehlot government- Diya Kumari

During this, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said on the Kanhaiyalal murder case, “Unfortunately, the Kanhaiyalal murder case happened during the Gehlot government, so how the investigation was done at that time is also an aspect that needs to be seen, the rest of the court’s decision is important, we cannot say anything about it. But whatever action is to be taken further, that action will be taken. But we will strongly present the case of student Devraj in the court and try to get justice for the family.”
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, city MLA Tarachand Jain, District Collector Arvind Poswal, Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi, former minister Surendra Singh Rathore, social worker Pramod Samar, Ravindra Shrimali, Chandragupta Singh Chauhan, Gajpal Singh, councilor Shilpa Pamecha etc. were also present.

One accused has already got bail

It is worth noting that on 28 June 2022, Kanhaiya Lal Tailor was murdered in Udaipur and his video was made viral on social media. While investigating the case, the NIA arrested Riyaz Attari and Gaus Mohammad and others and presented a chargesheet in the NIA court. Earlier, accused Farhad Mohammad has also got bail, while Pak resident accused Salman and Abu Ibrahim are absconding in the case.
