Jaipur : Youth are taking to the streets to protest against the decision of the Bhajan Lal government to give 50 percent reservation to women in some government jobs in Rajasthan. On Tuesday also, unemployed youth protested fiercely at the Barmer district headquarters under the leadership of Manoj Meena, President of Yuva Shakti Integrated Federation. During the protest, the youth warned the Bhajan Lal government of the state and said that the government should withdraw 50 percent women reservation, otherwise its consequences will have to be borne from by-elections to Panchayati Raj elections.
Demanded to make Diya Kumari the CM
While talking exclusively to ‘Rajasthan Tak’, youth leader Manoj Meena said that the government has stabbed unemployed youth by giving 50 percent reservation to women. If the government really wants to empower women, then first Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma himself should leave his post and make Diya Kumari the Chief Minister. Also, women leaders should be included in the cabinet and the cabinet, then we will think that the government wants to empower women.
The government will have to bear the loss: Manoj Meena
While levelling a serious allegation on Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, Manoj Meena said that the Chief Minister has made his son a leader. But the government is not concerned with these unemployed people. This is an imposed bill in the name of women reservation, which the youth will not tolerate. If the government does not withdraw this bill in time, then the youth will protest across the state and the government will have to suffer losses in every upcoming election, starting from by-elections.
