Jaipur : Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi stayed at Jaipur Airport for some time on Wednesday night, although they did not come out of the flight. He was accompanied by party’s Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal and Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra and son Rehan Vadra. All had reached Jaipur by charter plane from Wayanad.
Everyone left for Delhi after dropping their son Rehaan at the airport. Rehan Vadra came out of the airport and left in a car. Rehan stayed in Jaipur due to personal work. When the information about Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Jaipur was suddenly received, the security agencies came on alert mode. In such a situation, along with security personnel, police escorts were also deployed at the airport but Rahul Gandhi did not even get off the plane and left for Delhi. Even Congress leaders were not aware that Rahul Gandhi was coming to Jaipur. By the time he came to know about this, Rahul Gandhi had left.
