Jaipur : Opposition uproar was seen today during the Question Hour in Rajasthan Assembly. There was a heated argument between Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie in the Assembly over the discrepancy in the tree plantation data. At the same time, Congress MLA from Ramgarh Zubair Khan even threatened to resign. Know why the MLA said so? MLA Zubair Khan from Ramgarh of Alwar district raised the issue of encroachment in Jaisamand Dam in the Assembly. But, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat did not give a satisfactory answer. On which Zubair Khan got angry and said that if his statement turns out to be wrong, he will resign from the post of MLA. On Zubair Khan’s statement, Vasudev Devnani said that the Assembly needs you. After this, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie also raised the issue of incomplete information with the Water Resources Minister. However, after the Speaker’s intervention, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat assured to form a committee.

MLA Zubair Khan said in the assembly that the Water Resources Minister is saying that there is no encroachment in the Jaisamand Dam. The district administration has investigated and released a list, which reveals that there is encroachment in the villages whose land falls in the filling area. The filling capacity of Siliserh is 28.9 inches. The hotels built in these areas get flooded.
On the MLA’s resignation statement, the speaker said- we need you
MLA Khan demanded the formation of a committee to investigate how many illegal hotels are running. The committee will find out everything. If water is not supplied to the hotels built in Siliserh, I will resign. The Water Resources Minister gives wrong answers on the instructions of the officials. On the matter of resignation, Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that you should not resign, you are needed right now. However, later Minister Suresh Singh Rawat assured to form a committee.
When BJP leaders are questioned in the Assembly regarding development, they do not have any answer.

Demand for action against those who lie in the House
MLA Zubair Khan posted the video of the assembly on X and wrote that when BJP leaders are questioned about development in the assembly, they do not have any answer. Today, problems related to waterlogging and encroachment were raised in the assembly. Also, he requested that action be taken against those who lie in the House. He demanded immediate redressal of the problems raised before the speaker.
