Why does no one go inside this fort after evening, watch the mysterious story in the video

Alwar : The magnificent fort of Bhangarh is situated in the midst of the lush green hills of Alwar district of Rajasthan. Built in the 17th century, this fort is famous for the beauty of its surroundings and excellent architecture. But even more famous than that are the haunted stories of this fort. There are many stories related to the fort in which the people coming here hear the sound of a screaming tantrik, a woman pleading for help and the sound of breaking bangles. Let us know how this fort of the royal family became one of the most haunted places in India.

Bhangarh Fort was built in the 17th century by Raja Madho Singh. Madho Singh was the younger brother of the great Mughal commander Man Singh of Ambar. Bhangarh Fort along with the entire settlement was protected by five large gates. Apart from the royal palace, Bhangarh had more than 9,000 houses till 1720, after which the population gradually decreased. Remains of grand mansions, temples and deserted markets can be seen in the fort premises, which indicate the prosperous days of the fort. Today, this fort is considered a haunt of ghosts.

The whole city was destroyed by the curse of the saint

Apart from the beautiful natural views seen from the fort, its haunted story attracts a huge crowd of tourists. Due to being haunted, this fort is prohibited for tourists before sunrise and after sunset. But what happened here? There are many stories about the fort being haunted. Two of these stories are mentioned on the tourism website of Rajasthan, which are quite popular among the local population.

The first story is of a sadhu named Baba Balau Nath. According to this, long before King Madho Singh built the Bhangarh fort, Baba Balau Nath used to meditate nearby. When the decision to build the fort was taken, the sadhu put a condition before the king. Baba Balau gave permission to build a fort in Bhangarh on the condition that the Bhangarh fort or any building inside it should not be higher than his house. Along with this, a warning was also given that if the shadow of any structure falls on the sadhu’s house, then the entire city settled in the fort will be destroyed. It is said that Madho Singh’s grandson Ajab Singh ignored this warning and increased the height of the fort a lot. As a result, the shadow fell on the sadhu’s house and the entire city was destroyed under the warning.

The tantrik had an evil eye on the beautiful princess

One of the ghost stories of Bhangarh is related to Princess Ratnavati. Princess Ratnavati was very beautiful and she had a good number of admirers from the royal families of the country. A tantrik who was an expert in black magic also fell in love with the princess. One day when the princess went shopping with her friends, the magician saw her buying perfume. The tantrik replaced the princess’ perfume with a love potion. Love potion is a magical liquid after coming in contact with which a person develops a feeling of love for the person who gave him the magical liquid.

The princess came to know of the tantrik’s trick beforehand. She threw the perfume on a big stone nearby. Due to the magic of the liquid, the big stone started rolling towards the magician and the tantrik died after being crushed by the stone. It is said that before dying, the tantrik cursed the city and said that it would soon be destroyed and no one would survive in its premises. Now call it a coincidence or the curse of that tantrik, but after some time the Mughal army captured the kingdom, and killed all the residents of the fort including Princess Ratnavati. It is believed that the ghosts of the dead people still wander in the fort of Bhangarh at night. Many people also claim to hear their voices.
