BJP got majority in Haryana
According to the Election Commission website, Bharatiya Janata Party won 48 seats in the Haryana Assembly elections. For majority, victory on 46 seats was required. At the same time, Congress had to be satisfied with 37 seats. Whereas INLD could get only 2 seats. 3 seats went to others. Aam Aadmi Party and JJP could not win even a single seat. Congress’ Haryana unit chief Uday Bhan, Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta and former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala are among the prominent leaders who lost their seats in the Haryana Assembly elections. Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Singh Chautala and BJP’s Bhavya Bishnoi are also among the losers.
