Why was there a delay in the suspension of Mayor Munesh Gurjar even after the court’s order? Minister Kharra made a big revelation

Jaipur : UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra told the reason for the delay in the suspension of Munesh Gurjar. He said that he was suspended twice last year. Both times he got relief from the Rajasthan High Court. We wanted to ensure that the shortcomings that were there in the last investigation and suspension should not be there this time. Taking advantage of this, some relief can be obtained from the High Court or any other court.

Step taken after ACB investigation

He said, “For this, we first let the ACB investigation complete. When the ACB found the allegations proven, permission was given to present the challan. After that, we decided to conduct an administrative investigation. First, we got the investigation done by DDR. DDR gave him a notice of three days. The reply that came in three days was studied. After this, after studying the files of the previous two suspensions and the order of the Rajasthan High Court, we decided to give him another chance.”

Notice issued from DLV

Kharra said, “After this we got a notice issued from the Director DLV. He should be given a chance to explain himself even at the director level. A notice was issued to him on September 18. He was given time till September 21 to respond. September 21 was a Saturday. We got the DLV office opened. An order was issued for that. Two of its people came to the premises of the DLV office on September 21. Walked around for five minutes. Maybe they made a video. To prove that we had gone to DLV. But, no notice was taken there. Maybe they did not know that CCTV cameras were installed there.”

The suspension was approved on September 22

Kharra said, “When his reply was not received, his file was prepared yesterday (September 22). The suspension was approved. At the same time, it was learnt that he had sent an e-mail to Director DLV. He alleged that my men had gone to the DLV office. They were not allowed to enter the office. The receipt branch refused to take the papers from him.”

After replying to the email, get the CCTV cameras checked

The minister said, “After getting information about the email, we got the CCTV cameras checked. His movements were captured. After preparing the suspension approval, we asked the DLV director to stop the suspension order because he had written in the email to give his reply on 23rd September. The reply received on the email repeated the same facts which were given during the DDR investigation. The file was taken and studied. The file was presented again. The file was approved at 5:30. In five minutes, his suspension orders were issued and a judicial inquiry was ordered.”

A new mayor is expected to be elected on September 25.
