Head constable dies after collision with tractor
This whole matter is related to the terror of gravel mafia in Tonk. A few days ago, Head Constable Khusiram posted in Thana Kotwali was injured by gravel mafia after being hit by a tractor, who died during treatment in Jaipur. Angry with this incident, people of Dalit community took to the streets on Wednesday and started protesting by raising slogans in the Collectorate. During this, slogans of Sachin Pilot Murdabad were also raised in the presence of District Congress President Hariprasad Bairwa. The protesters demanded from the government that the deceased policeman should be given the status of martyr and a compensation of Rs 1 crore should be given to the family. However, no consensus has been reached in this matter so far. Due to this, the last rites of the deceased policeman could not be performed on Wednesday. The body was also not brought from Jaipur to Tonk.
Pilot demanded action from the state government
Sachin Pilot is aware of this latest case of terror of gravel mafia and he has made a post on Twitter demanding strict action against these criminals from the state government. Sharing the picture of the deceased constable, he wrote in his post, ‘The news of the death of Tonk district’s head constable Khusiram Bairwa after being hit by a tractor is heartbreaking. The way gravel mafia is increasing in the state, there is a dire need to curb it. The state government should take strict action against such criminals. Khusiram discharged his duty till the last moment. I pay my humble tribute to him and express my condolences to his family.’
