Jalore News Desk: In a small house situated at Mahavir intersection in Bhinmal of Jalore district, the happiness of Diwali drowned like the waves of the ocean in a moment. Chetan Kumar Thakur’s family was completely happy that day. He had bought a new bike on the occasion of Dhanteras and the plan was to soon go out with his wife Kavita and children. But that day changed his life forever.
This family became a victim of tragedy within a few hours
Chetan Kumar Thakur, who runs a private school in Bhinmal… said that on the morning of 3 November, he had left for Sirohi to settle the finance work. There were only wife Kavita and two children Gauravi (5 years old) and Dhruv (10 years old) at home. Chetan had told the children that he would return soon and then everyone would go out together. But within a few hours the family became a victim of tragedy.
Neighbor said – it was a heart-wrenching scene
After completing his finance work in Sirohi, Chetan received a call from his neighbours. In which it was told that his house had caught fire. As soon as he reached home, there was a heart-wrenching scene in front of him. The bodies of his wife and children were burnt. There was a fire in that small room due to short circuit in the AC and smoke filled the room due to the closed windows. Kavita and the children were sleeping and no one could get a chance to go out.
The family was living a life full of happiness and love.
After marriage since 2011, their life journey was full of happiness and love. On Diwali, Kavita wore a red saree and the children bought new clothes. This picture has now become the last picture of his life. Preliminary investigation by police and FSL has suggested that short circuit was the cause of the fire. This heartbreaking incident has shaken Chetan Kumar Thakur badly. He repeatedly thinks that if he had not left the house that day, perhaps his family’s happiness would still have been safe.
Helpless father cremated his two children and wife on a pyre
Just yesterday, the last rites of the wife and two children were performed on a pyre. Police said that all three had become unconscious due to suffocation. After that, when the fire broke out, their bodies were burnt to the extent of eighty percent. Only some parts of the dead bodies were left, which the family has cremated.
