Jaipur : Voting will be held on 40 seats in the third phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections on October 1. There will be a break in the campaign today (September 29) in the evening. Former Deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot reached Udhampur to campaign for Congress. During this, while talking to the media, Sachin Pilot said that there has been good voting in the first and second phase, we will benefit from it. He said that people want change, people are fed up with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Pilot claimed that voters are looking at the alliance of Congress and National Conference with positive expectations.
‘Elections should be held on the issue of development and employment’
Taking aim at BJP, Sachin Pilot said, “I believe that despite all the propaganda, misinformation and difficulties in the opposition campaign, our alliance (Congress-NC alliance) will get a clear majority.” He said, “I want elections to be held on issues and I do not want to comment on anyone. There should be no talk on the issue of development and employment. There should be no talk of providing employment to the youth who have not got employment.”Pilot He said sarcastically, “The public is asking questions about what the Bharatiya Janata Party has given to the country and the state during its 10-year tenure.”
‘Elections are being held on the orders of the Supreme Court’
When former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot was asked why he said that BJP does not believe in democracy, Pilot said, “The elections being held in Jammu and Kashmir are after the orders of the Supreme Court.” He further said that “If the Supreme Court had not given the order, there would not have been elections here for a long time. The Supreme Court had restrained the government and the Election Commission, that is why assembly elections are being held here.” Pilot said that “Jammu and Kashmir Congress-NC will form the government with full majority.”

Let us tell you, voting is being held in three phases on 90 assembly seats of Jammu and Kashmir. In the first phase, voting was completed on 24 seats in the state on September 18 and in the second phase, voting was completed on 26 seats on May 25. In the third and final phase, voting will be held on a total of 40 seats on October 1 and the results will be announced on October 8.
