Jaipur : A video of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) supremo and MP from Nagaur Lok Sabha seat of Rajasthan Hanuman Beniwal is going viral on social media. In this video, he is seen talking to the public about saving the existence of RLP. Beniwal is saying that RLP is the people’s party. If it loses in this by-election, the next day the headline will be – RLP has been wiped out from Rajasthan. RLP account is no more. There is no RLP MLA in Rajasthan Assembly.
Waiting for the list of RLP candidates
This video has come out at a time when the people of Rajasthan are waiting for the announcement of RLP candidates for the by-elections on 7 seats. Because only 2 days are left to file nomination. According to the Election Commission, candidates can file their nominations only till the evening of 25th October. Congress has fielded its candidates on all seven seats. Bharatiya Janata Party has announced its candidates for the remaining 6 seats except 84 seats. Bharat Adivasi Party has also revealed the names of its candidates on 2 seats. Now the process of their nomination is going on. But RLP has so far released only the names of its 14 star campaigns.
Discussion about getting tickets outside the family
From the time of formation of RLP till now, Hanuman Beniwal has given ticket only to his family from Khinvsar Assembly seat. Either Hanuman himself has become the MLA from this seat, or his brother Narayan Beniwal. The same sequence continues every time, and there was talk of repeating it this time too. But, before the announcement of the candidates, RLP released the names of 14 star campaigners for the Rajasthan by-elections. Narayan Beniwal’s name is also included in these names. However, instead of forming an alliance, Congress fielded its candidates on all 7 seats on Wednesday night. BJP has made Hanuman Beniwal’s old aide Rewant Ram Danga its candidate from Khinvsar assembly seat. Whereas Congress has made Dr. Ratan Chaudhary, wife of former IPS, its candidate. Now the discussion has started regarding the name of RLP candidate. According to the information, the name of Hanuman Beniwal’s wife Kanika Beniwal is in discussion as a candidate from Rashtriya Loktantrik Party. However, the final decision of the party is yet to come. There is also discussion that this time the ticket can be given to someone from outside the family also.
