Jaipur : National General Secretary Sachin Pilot has made a big statement regarding the alliance of Congress in the by-elections of seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. Pilot has hinted that Congress will contest alone on all seats in Rajasthan. Talking to journalists in Tonk, Sachin Pilot said that the Congress leaders and workers are fully capable of dealing with every challenge. Our workers are strong but still the decision of alliance will be taken from Delhi. Congress will win all the seats in Rajasthan.
Dotasara had also said this in gestures
It is worth mentioning that earlier the state Congress president had also indicated that Congress will contest alone on all the seats. The reason for this is very clear. Hanuman Beniwal’s RLP and Baap Party do not seem to be interested in contesting the elections in alliance with Congress. In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress fought the elections in alliance and won 11 seats in Rajasthan, out of which eight seats were of Congress and three seats were of the alliance, but the leaders of the alliance did not attend the meetings held immediately after the elections.
Assembly by-elections are to be held on 7 seats
After the death of Ramgarh MLA Zuber Khan, the total number of vacant assembly seats in the state has become seven. Therefore, now assembly by-elections will be held on seven seats. Five seats had already fallen vacant because the current MLAs had become MPs by winning the Lok Sabha elections. Recently, the sixth seat fell vacant due to the death of BJP MLA Amritlal Meena from Salumbhar. The five seats on which by-elections will be held after the MLAs win the Lok Sabha elections include Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Deoli Uniara, Khinvsar and Chaurasi.
