Due to the drop in temperature, people are now seen wearing warm clothes throughout the day. To get relief from the cold, people have started enjoying the soft sunlight even in the afternoon. According to the weather station of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ekorashi, the minimum temperature on Monday was 6.3 degrees Celsius. Which is 1.6 degrees Celsius less than the previous day.

Since snowfall started in North India on Monday, winter has started increasing rapidly in the region also. People kept wearing warm clothes due to cold winds blowing throughout the day. Due to increase in coolness during the day, the sun also remained in mild mood. People were seen sitting in the hot sun in parks and on the roofs of houses. According to the meteorologist of the Agriculture Department Centre, the minimum temperature on Monday morning was 6.3 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 22.1 degrees Celsius. Whereas on Sunday the temperature dropped to 7.9 degrees Celsius. The difference in minimum and maximum temperatures by more than 15 degrees Celsius has increased the cold in the morning and evening.
