Due to snow falling on the mountains, a period of severe winter will begin in the state.
Snowfall in Kashmir and Himachal
According to the information, there was snowfall in the higher reaches of Kashmir Valley. There has also been snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. Due to this the weather in the state is becoming cold. It is a sunny day in the capital Jaipur. People have started liking sunlight now. Dense fog is still prevalent in many districts of the state. Due to this, vehicles moved crawling on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, cold will continue in the state for the next few days. This may cause problems to people. Due to severe cold, normal life is also being affected. Due to fog in the morning and evening, the speed of vehicles on the roads has slowed down.
Minimum mercury dropped in many districts
The highest day temperature of 31 degrees was recorded in Barmer in the state. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees in Fatehpur, Sikar. The lowest temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded in Mount Abu. The minimum temperature recorded here was 6.2 degrees Celsius. Apart from Abu, Fatehpur, Sirohi, Sikar and Churu recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. According to Meteorological Center Jaipur, the weather will remain like this in the state for the next few days. There is a possibility of fog in the districts of Jaipur, Bikaner and Bharatpur divisions in the morning.
