Jaisalmer News Desk: Thieves stole wire worth about Rs 4 lakh from a wind mill in Kotri village of Khuhdi police station area of ​​Jaisalmer last night. When the guards got the information, they chased the thieves for about 100 km. The thieves escaped after inserting stolen wires at a scrap yard in Gafoor Bhatta Kachchi Basti of the city. Security guards raided the junkyard and called the police on the spot. Now the police and the people of the wind mill company are taking action to recover the stolen goods. Abhimanyu Singh, Admin Security of Wind World Company (Enercon) said – thefts are happening continuously in their machines. In the case of theft that happened last night, we chased the thieves but they escaped after keeping the stolen goods in a junkyard. We have identified our luggage and recovered it. Now the police is doing its work.

Admin Security, Abhimanyu Singh said- 33 wind mills (machines) of our company are installed in Kotri village near Pithala village of Fatehgarh tehsil. Last night around 4 o’clock, 3-4 thieves came to the machine location number 110 with a pickup vehicle and started cutting the wires and taking them away. When this information was received in the Mumbai office under the alarm system, the thieves were chased after giving information to the security agency. After being chased for about 100 km, the thieves left the stolen goods at a junkyard in the slum area of ​​the city and ran away. When we tried to catch hold, they tried to run the vehicle over us.

Goods recovered from junkyard

Abhimanyu Singh told that we recovered the cable from the scrap shop and informed the city Kotwali police and called him from the spot. 143 meter power cable, 100 meter earthing cable and stolen goods worth about Rs 4 lakh were recovered from the junkyard. During this time, Khuhdi police station has also reached the spot. Both the company employees and the police are jointly searching the junkyard so that the goods that have been stolen in the past may also be found.
