Bharatpur : A woman died under suspicious circumstances in Nagar area of Deeg district. The woman’s side alleges that her husband has beaten her to death in Gurugram due to non-fulfillment of his dowry demand. After that he took his wife’s dead body to his home in the city. The police got the postmortem of the woman’s body done by the medical board.
Devendra resident of Dhobi Mohalla gave a complaint to the city police station and said that he had married his two sisters Neetu and Nisha with Vikas and Shivam resident of Holi Gate Dhobi Mohalla Nagar on 26 April 2024. Devendra’s father Vijay Singh had spent about Rs 15 lakh on the marriage of both his daughters. Both the girls were given a bike and various household items as dowry. But Neetu’s husband was demanding development and dowry.
