Jhalawar : A case of assault with forest department personnel has come to light from Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. In the forest office located at Manohar police station in the district, more than three dozen women entered the office and beat up the forest personnel fiercely and tore their clothes. Later, some men also came there and beat up the forest workers. The employees saved their lives with great difficulty. Three forest department employees have been injured in the fight. The injured were treated in the hospital. After this incident, the department personnel have registered a case of assault with the police.

Police and eyewitnesses told that a day before this incident, Anil, a resident of Kolu Khedi Maliyan village, had come to the hospital for treatment. When he was standing at the bus stand to go back to the village, he went to the nearby forest office to urinate. When Anil went there to urinate, forest department watchman Mohan refused to urinate there and beat him. After this, when his mother Panni Bai came to save him, she too was beaten up by forest department watchman Mohan. After the assault, the victim reached Manohar police station and lodged a written complaint, but the police did not take any action. After this, there was anger among the villagers regarding this incident.
Women employees beaten up
When the villagers got information about the assault on the sick youth Anil, the women gathered and reached the forest office. After this, he started beating the employees present there with his hands and slippers. The women beat up the watchman and other forest employees for a long time. After this, some men also reached there and took out the Forest Department employees from the office and beat them fiercely. Also tore their clothes. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and the people who attacked them fled from the spot.
Case registered against 40-50 people
On the complaint of the beaten forest employees Omprakash Nagar, Assistant Forest Guard Anil Chaudhary and Forest Guard Sunil Chaudhary, the police have registered a case against 40 to 50 people and further action is being taken in the matter.
