One such program was organized by Ajab Seva Sansthan located at University Road in Udaipur on Wednesday night, in which a special presentation was made to promote women empowerment. Here first weapon worship took place and then Talwar Raas program took place. Women performed many tricks while holding swords in both hands. The great thing is that girls ranging from 6 years old to women above 50 years of age participated in it. Local public representatives also arrived to see the program and were shocked to see it.

Training to more than 400 women

General Secretary of Ajab Seva Sansthan, Amit Porwal said that sword training has been going on for the last 5 years to promote Indian culture and to impart self-defense skills among women and girls. In this, girls ranging from 6 years old to 80 years old women also come to learn how to use swords for self-defense. So far, more than 400 women have learned to use swords for self-defense. Even now women are continuously coming to learn.

Demand is rising outside Rajasthan also

Advocate Sonam Purohit, who trains women and girls in sword fighting, said that every time during Navratri, Garba Raas has been performed with hands and dandiya. But this time the idea of ​​Garba Raas was given to women power with the sword. So prepared by giving training. He told that training is being given for a long time. Not only this, when the training videos were posted on social media, calls came from not only Udaipur but many parts of Rajasthan and people went to learn there too. Now calls are also coming from outside the state to give them sword training.

‘Feel proud in wielding a sword’

Kavita Sahu, who came to the institute to learn sword fighting, told that she already had a desire to learn sword fighting and then came here to learn. When she picked up the sword for the first time, she felt proud. Thought it would be difficult, but learned it within a few days. Now, whatever programs are organized, they perform Talwar Raas, so that other women also come forward for this and definitely learn self-defence. Not only this, women must keep a sword with them.
