Women’s happiness on ‘Ladli Behan Yojana’ converted into votes: Aditi Tatkare

Mumbai, November 24 (IANS). There is an atmosphere of celebration in the ruling Mahayuti after the election results of Maharashtra came out. Nationalist Congress Party leader and minister Aditi Tatkare and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui reacted to the election results while speaking to IANS on Sunday.

Aditi Tatkare said, “We are happy that the people of Maharashtra chose the issue of development. They gave importance to which government brings maximum schemes for us and for the public interest.”

He said that he had full hope of forming a Mahayuti government. There was complete confidence that “we will all work together once again”. Regarding ‘Ladli Behan Yojana’, he said that if any scheme comes and is implemented then its positive impact is seen. Women’s happiness has converted into votes. I am glad he chose Mahayuti.

NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui said, “I have met Ajit Dada, Praful Patel, all the leaders. We congratulated them on Mahayuti and NCP’s good performance.”

On the question of losing the election himself, he said that he worked a lot for five years, but lost the election. We get to learn from this. We will move ahead with this. We will work harder than before and win next time.

On the questions being raised by the opposition regarding EVMs, he said that only when the opposition loses, they raise questions on EVMs, but whenever they do well, they do not raise any questions.

Let us tell you that voting for the 288-seat Maharashtra Assembly was held on November 20. The results came out on 23 November. In this, ‘Mahayuti’ has won 236 seats.
