Jaipur : Monsoon has become active rapidly in Rajasthan. The temperature has dropped significantly due to continuous rain. Now the mercury in the state has dropped below 39 degrees. But due to heavy rains, life has become quite disrupted. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in some parts of East Rajasthan on July 1 and 2. In which there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions and very heavy rain at some places.

Heavy rain likely in next two days
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain has been recorded in eastern Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. In which 12 cm of rain was recorded in Bari of Dholpur, 11 cm in Baseri, 10 cm in Nagar of Bharatpur, 9 cm in Kumher, 8 cm in Deeg. Along with this, Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert at some places in Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar districts and has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning as well as strong winds (20-30 KMPH). According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, heavy rain is expected in the coming two days. During this time, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in some areas of Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions. At the same time, heavy rain is also expected in western Rajasthan on 2 to 3 July. There is a strong possibility of heavy (64.5-115.5 mm) to very heavy (115.5-204.4 mm) rain at some places over East Rajasthan on June 30 and July 1.

Monsoon Update
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the northern boundary of the monsoon is passing through Jaisalmer, Churu, Bhiwani, Delhi, Aligarh, Kanpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Kheri, Moradabad, Una, Pathankot, Jammu in the north-east. Due to this, conditions are likely to become favorable for the advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of western Rajasthan, remaining parts of Haryana, entire Chandigarh and remaining parts of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu during the next two days.
