Mumbai, November 18 (IANS). Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has praised actor Sonu Sood, calling him his “big brother”. Along with this he said that he is the “pride of Punjab”.
Honey Singh shared a picture on his Instagram, in which he is standing next to Sonu. Sonu Sood was born in Moga, Punjab in 1973 and brought up in Nagpur.
The rapper wrote in his caption, “My elder brother Sonu Sood, you are the ‘pride of Punjab’.
Talking about Honey Singh, he is making a music video named “Payal” with dancing diva Nora Fatehi.
On November 17, the makers released the teaser of the song on social media, writing, “It’s time for the next big thing.” Both Nora and Honey are looking special in the teaser, which has increased the excitement among the fans regarding its release.
Earlier, Yo Yo Honey Singh had shared some scenes from the song, in which he had told that he has filmed this music video in a temperature of -3 degrees Celsius. He praised Nora’s dedication and described her as “extremely hardworking”.
“Payal” is Nora’s first collaboration with Honey Singh. The upbeat track is set to release on November 18 and is from Singh’s highly anticipated album ‘Glory’.
Sonu had also supported a small dhaba in Uttarakhand earlier this month. Sonu posted a video with a group of local dhaba owners.
In the clip, he can be heard saying, “Today we are in Alwar and from here we are going to Vrindavan. This is our brother who is here from Uttarakhand and he runs a dhaba where he has given employment to 70 people. It is always said that the people of Uttarakhand cook very good food.
He further said, “All of them have left their homes and come here to work and are working very hard. All the people of Uttarakhand should keep working hard and keep bringing smiles on the faces.
The 51-year-old actor is all set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming action-packed thriller “Fateh”. This thriller stars Naseeruddin Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez.
