Jaipur : Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission is giving a big gift to electricity consumers. Now they can produce and use electricity sitting at home. For this, they can install a solar system on the roof or balcony of their house. Under this, you will have to spend only once. But after that you will get rid of the hassle of electricity bills forever.
Production of 80 to 100 units
Till now, solar systems were installed only on roofs. Due to this, people living in flats faced problems. Due to this, Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission has now started installing solar systems in balconies as well to give the benefit of this scheme to the general public. This system of about one kilowatt can be installed at a cost of just 50 thousand rupees. In which you can produce 70 to 100 units of electricity per month.
Rajasthan is the first state of the country
In fact, Rajasthan has become the first state in the country to test and successfully launch the balcony solar system. The solar plates installed a few weeks ago in the balcony of the building by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission are generating electricity.
can use electricity directly
RERC Chairman BN Sharma says that this new experiment has been successful. It has many benefits. Small families who do not need much electricity can install solar plates in their balcony. It will have nothing to do with the government. That means neither will subsidy be given for it nor will it be connected to the government grid. The micro chip attached to these plates will be able to connect it directly to the inverter and electricity will be stored there. If the consumer wants, he can also get a separate electricity connection, which is given at the government level.
The system is ready to use
Rajasthan is one of the leading states in the country in terms of solar. There are more than 75 lakh consumers in the state who are producing electricity from solar. They have connections up to three kilowatts. They are also connected to the grids. Electricity is also exchanged with the government. But now it is very easy to use balcony solar system. Sunil Bansal, an official of Rajasthan Solar Association, said that only the policy is yet to be made. Using it is as easy as plugging a fan and turning it on. These will be ready-to-use plates, they can be set up and used from the day they are installed. This is a new revolution and its effect will be seen very soon.
