Jaipur : Before traveling in the train, definitely check your ticket. If there is any discrepancy in it, you will be caught immediately and action will also be taken. Railway undertaking Center for Railway Information System (CRIS) has recently launched an updated version of the Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) app. With this, TTE staff will be able to detect fake tickets and edited tickets immediately. Some time ago it was found that many people are traveling with fake (edited) tickets taking advantage of the crowd. To stop this, changes have been made in the TTE app. By installing this new app in Hand Held Terminal (HHT) machines, TTE staff will be able to verify the ticket immediately. This will also not cause any loss of revenue to the railways. Also, those traveling with fake tickets will be caught immediately. Then the TTE staff will charge them a fine. The Railway Board has instructed the Ticket Collector (TC) and TTE in all zones to upload this new version immediately.
You will know as soon as you scan
Railway officials said that TTE staff has been given HHT machines for ticket verification. This app is being uploaded in it. In this TTE app, as soon as the UTS number of the ticket is fed or the QR code is scanned, the details of the ticket will be revealed. This will immediately reveal whether the ticket is real or fake. There is also an option in the app to validate the ticket after verification.
You can also check by color
The facility of checking the validity of unreserved tickets generated by the passenger from mobile is also available in the TTE app. Under this, the validity of the ticket can be checked from the option of color check menu. If the color of the UTS ticket shown on the mobile screen is different from the color fixed by the railways for mobile UTS tickets of that day, the fraud committed on the ticket will be detected immediately and the passenger will have to pay a fine.
