Jaipur : More than one lakh people living in 8 cities of Rajasthan are soon going to get relief from the hassle of cylinders. The government’s full focus is to send gas through pipeline to the homes of more than one lakh people by the end of this year so that the stoves can be lit and its monthly bill also comes on your phone. The Mines and Petroleum Department has made preparations for this. After supplying CNG at petrol pumps, now a plan has been prepared to deliver gas to homes.

Mines and Petroleum Secretary Anandi has held a meeting with 13 CGD organizations supplying CNG in the state. For gas supply, pipelines will be laid in Jaipur, Kota, Alwar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bundi and Pali. The government has made preparations to lay two thousand kilometers of gas pipeline. Through this, more than one lakh gas connections will be given in the first phase.
