Young man arrested for molesting a Sriganganagar girl

Sriganganagar : Anupgarh Police on Thursday arrested a person resident of ward number 24 of the city on charges of molesting a woman. A woman from nearby village 17A had filed a named case against the accused.

The woman told in the report that the accused had been roaming around her house for the last 2-3 days and since she knew the accused, she did not worry. On October 14, she was alone at home in the afternoon and at around 12:30 in the afternoon, the accused came to her house, came into the room, caught hold of her with the wrong intention and started molesting her. She protested and with great difficulty freed herself and ran out of the room. The woman recorded that she told the accused that she is the daughter of Samman, what are you doing and when he asked her to make noise, he left the house. Based on the woman’s report, the police registered the case and handed over the investigation to Head Constable Padam Singh.

Head constable Padam Singh said that after investigation during the investigation, the accused was presented in the court. Where he was sent to judicial custody till 12th December.
