Kota : Kota: A young man died due to electric shock while digging the foundation. The incident is of Monday. Today, outside the mortuary of MBS Hospital, family members accused the contractor of negligence. Adamant on the demand for financial help. On information, Anantpura police station reached the spot. Family members are being consulted. The deceased Harish Bairwa (25) was a resident of Baran district. Who lived on rent in Kansua in Kota for 4 years.
Uncle Yogendra told that Harish used to work with UIT contractors Pawan and Satyendra for the last 2 years. On Monday, the contractor’s work was going on near the petrol pump in Gobariya stepwell area. Harish was present on the spot. The foundation was being excavated there. The foundation was filled with water. Which was being taken out using a motor. Earthing occurred due to the motor wire going inside water. Harish was at the spot who got electrocuted. The people present at the spot took him to MBS Hospital for treatment. Where the duty doctor checked and declared him dead.
Uncle Kamal Kishore told that Harish was educated till BA. His job was that of supervision. The incident took place at 11 am on Monday. The contractor did not come to take care till evening. Unless the contractor provides financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh, the body will be picked up and taken to the contractor’s house. Anantpura police station CI Bhupendra Singh said that the plot was filled with water while digging its foundation. Harish died due to electric shock while draining water from the motor. The family members are demanding to call the contractor to the mortuary. The post mortem process is ongoing. Further action will be taken based on the complaint of the family members.
